FLOCO Media is committed to protecting its community - including authors, artists, job seekers, partners, and vendors - from fraud, scams, and malicious impersonations. This policy outlines the types of fraudulent activities we’ve identified, the bad actors and fake entities we do not associate with, and the steps you should take to verify legitimate communication with FLOCO or its division (FLOCO Music, FLOCO & Ink, etc.).
1. Publishing Fraud Alert:
FLOCO has been made aware of impersonators posing as FLOCO Media, FLOCO Music, or FLOCO & Ink employees or agents. These bad actors approach independent authors, musicians, or creators with false offers, contracts, and publishing deals -often requesting payment for services we do not charge for.
🚫 FLOCO Holdings will NEVER:

Charge upfront to consider your manuscript, demo, album, or idea.

Require third-party editing, trailers, or certifications for submission.

Ask for your bank account or personal identification for review purposes.

Use *Gmail, Yahoo, or unofficial domains for outreach (*Our flocoholdings@gmail.com email is the only valid Gmail account that we have have ever used).

2. Job Recruitment Fraud Alert:
FLOCO does not solicit payment during any phase of recruitment. If you are approached with job offers involving fees, gift card purchases, or suspicious contracts, it is a scam.

Impersonate FLOCO recruiters on LinkedIn, Telegram, or job boards.

Use fake domains like @applicantsinformation.com or @careerplacementteam.com.

Send phony interview invites or employment contracts.

Phishing scams may come via email, text, or social media messages—often with urgent language, suspicious links, or fake requests for sensitive info.
Watch for:

Emails from Gmail or Outlook accounts pretending to be our executives (As of July 31, 2025, all FLOCO Staff will use @flocomedia.com email addresses from now on).

Threats of account suspension or promises of large sums of money.
