The Netherverse is moving forward—but the order of release has changed.

Wicked Whispers’ Netherverse saga remains one of the first full-length stories from FLOCO Media’s Entertainment division. After setbacks with our content partner, YouTube, and the time required to fund animation properly, we are not releasing a Fall 2026 pilot or a Fall 2027 first season as previously announced.

What comes first
FLOCO & Ink will publish the official Netherverse novelization on October 1, 2027. That book is the full opening of the story.

​

What follows
The animated adaptation stays in development while we raise production funds. The target date for that film is 2029. Early storyboards already exist. The picture will follow the novel, not precede it.

​

The old Fright Fest III / Fright Fest IV television dates no longer apply. We would rather give Fantoms a finished book and a funded film than ship a half-built season on a date we cannot keep.

​

Until 2027, the Wicked Whispers catalog—including Wicked Beats—is the living door into this world.
